General Queries

 

       How many hours do I study per week?

Full time students study for a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.

Private study time and directed study by the college would add another 10 hours per week and additional time is required to complete the assignments.

How do I enrol?

We will be adding an Admissions Section to the web site shortly.

If I have queries how can they be clarified?

Many queries may be answered by your recruitment agent but otstanding queries may be dealt with by our office here in the UK.

Can I obtain credits for prior learning?

Yes – this is possible as we have a rigorous scheme of APL – Accreditation of Prior Learning.

Is my final qualification recognised globally?

Yes, all Cambridge Management College courses are externally accredited by a globally-recognised awarding body.

Do I apply through UCAS or direct to the College?

No – you apply directly to Cambridge Management College.

What about living in the UK?

The cultural and social aspects of living in the UK are covered in the induction programme. At this stage remember to pack warm clothing for winter and light clothing for summer! For further details, see the Section Living in the UK

What do I do if I lose my passport?

Initially – report it to the police and a crime reference number will be given.  Your embassy/high commission will process your revised application with the crime reference number/incident details. 
You then apply to the Home Office for the correct stamp with this documentation.
N.B. You are responsible for having a valid passport and up to date travel documents.

Do I need health insurance?

Visitors on a short visit should always have independent health insurance. Students may come from countries with reciprocal health care arrangements with the NHS.


Long term students [1 year plus] should contact local doctors to determine if they are accepting new patients.
