The Traditional Route for
Business/Management Programmes
Summary and Chart
In essence, this is a first-degree or bachelor's degree route and post-graduate degrees can follow. The stages of this process are shown on the Route Map below:
Foundation
This is an additional foundation programme for those students without the requisite entry qualifications for the degree. N.B. This programme can be delivered by open learning while you are based in your own country and gives automatic progression to CMC's BA1/HND1 course in the UK (subject to normal visa requirements). Our associated English language skills development centre can also be utilised at this stage; if required.
Degree 1 + 2
The next stage, or the first stage for many who have not gone through the foundation stage, is the 2year diploma which gives entry to the third year of a degree.
Degree 3
Many UK universities provide a progression route for Higher National Diploma holders onto a course lasting 1 academic year and leading to a bachelors degree. In addition, CMC has a facility via another organisation for a top-up degree of six-months duration from a leading European business school. This is cost effective, both in time and money, and leads to a recognised degree.
Post Graduate
Thereafter, post graduate degrees can follow at CMC, through its associates or through universities.
