Section 10. Cancellations, Refunds & Visa Refusals

If your visa is denied you will be given a full refund once you have provided us with your original refusal letter and when the College is satisfied that you do not intend to travel to the UK.

Once your visa, has been issued if you decide not to take up the offer of a place at the College unless through accident or personal injury for which proof will be required the Home Office will be notified and you will not be entitled to a refund.

 

In the case of accident or personal injury which prevents you from being able to take up your place at the College you will be entitled to a full refund minus a £250 administration charge.

Unless otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions, if you do not attend any of the classes on your course, you will not be entitled to any refund of your fees.

 

We will not refund your fees if your visa is denied or terminated due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • inadequate attendance on the course (or any other courses previously attended at other schools or Colleges) or your failure to complete the course or working without a valid work permit
  • having provided incorrect and/or misleading information to the College (including on the Application Form or Enrolment Form) or to the immigration or any other relevant authorities
  • If you are denied a student visa but are granted another kind of visa, whether to enter or remain in the UK, no refund will be given.

If your visa is denied for reasons other than those referred to in the paragraph above), your fees will be refunded, calculated from the date your visa was denied, subject to:

  • the College retaining £100 or 20% of the fees of your course, whichever is the greater
  • you providing the College with the copy of the visa refusal letter issued by the British Embassy/High Commission or a photocopy of your passport with the entry refusal stamp

Once agreed by the College, refunds will be made in no longer than 3 working days, unless otherwise stated. Refunds can only be made by cheque payable to, or by credit transfer to the account/card of, the person who paid the fees (as per Enrolment Form) and in no circumstances will be made in cash. We will not make any refunds to any other person.
